Shade loving plant is commonly found beneath Oak trees, therefor referred to as Common Oak Sedge
Low sedge with delicate, arching, semi-evergreen leaves up to 1/8" wide and 8"-12" long
Fine texture and fountaining habit give a soft appearance
Use as a groundcover to create a shade lawn or use as an underplanting for shade perennials
Spreads via rhizomes
Produces upright, stalkless spikeletes- white and feathery with dark purple scales

Cut foliage to the ground before any new growth in early Spring to keep tidy appearance
